We offer the most comprehensive treatment program in the country for patients who struggle with eating disorders, mood and anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.

As a patient care professional at ERC Pathlight, you will be part of a team delivering hands-on treatment, therapy sessions, and support to our patients across various centers nationwide. The BHT works under the supervision of the Nursing department and is responsible for the direct care of inpatient and residential patients, providing supervision and support.

You will serve patients daily in multiple ways, including:

  1. Milieu Management, including maintaining daily program structure by following the program schedule.
  2. Completing observation rounds and safety checks as ordered by physicians.
  3. Working with patients on de-escalation and implementing coping skills per treatment plan.
  4. Providing patient transportation for medical appointments (varies by location and program).
  5. Taking patient vital signs, weights, and urine Specific Gravity (varies by location and program).
  6. Supporting nursing duties as assigned.
  7. Acting as secondary support staff in group therapy (varies by location and program).
  8. Assisting with morning routines and Activities of Daily Living while patients are in spa/bathroom.
  9. Monitoring meals and bathrooms, including flush checks for patients in the eating disorder program.
  10. Documenting patient observations, meals, and individual check-ins during shifts.

BHT I Must Haves:

  • High School Graduate/GED (Required)
  • Associate's Degree (Preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (Required)
  • Psych Tech or CNA experience (Preferred)
  • 6+ months of direct patient care/milieu experience (Preferred)

BHT II Must Haves:

  • High School Graduate/GED (Required)
  • 1 year of Behavioral Health experience (Required)
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (Required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of ERC milieu experience (for internal teammates only)
