Job Summary

Northstar Behavioral Health Network specializes in serving individuals with substance use disorders, including Opioid and Stimulant Use Disorders, as well as those requiring Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS).

Responsibilities

• Administer and document client medications.
• Maintain awareness of house and client activities.
• Transport clients safely to appointments and other destinations.
• Ensure passenger compliance and safety.
• Plan and prioritize work tasks according to programming needs.
• Monitor clients, conduct house rounds, and document pertinent information.
• Work independently with reliability and minimal supervision.
• Stay informed about program policies, 245G requirements, and confidentiality standards.
• Assist with client intake, orientation, and admission procedures.
• Encourage and support clients in achieving their goals.
• Participate in recreational activities and serve as a community resource.
• Document client interactions and maintain records accurately.
• Demonstrate sensitivity and diplomacy with clients and staff.
• Perform clerical duties, including document management and data entry.
• Assist with food prep and household chores as needed.
• Adhere to attendance policies and report punctually.
• Participate in shift rotations, including holidays and additional hours as required.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Knowledge of relevant MN statutes and regulations.
• Understanding of and adherence to NBHN's Drug and Alcohol Policy.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
