Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is opening a new detox and residential treatment facility in Concord, NC and seeks compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to join our overnight team. You will supervise clients, ensure safety, and support treatment programming through the night.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and CPR/First Aid certification; prior behavioral health experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (required or ability to obtain upon hire).
Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

Complete client intakes and support new admissions during overnight hours.
Supervise and monitor clients throughout the night to ensure safety and program compliance.
Conduct regular rounds and document client observations accurately.
Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable.
Maintain comprehensive client records and required documentation.
Provide assistance with client needs, including dietary or housekeeping support.
Respond appropriately to client behavioral or emotional crises, including crisis intervention when necessary.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in compliance with facility standards.
Provide transportation for clients when needed.
Uphold therapeutic boundaries and professional ethics at all times.
Complete all required trainings and participate in staff development.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Behavioral Health Technician (Overnight Shift)

Concord, NC $16 – $18.50/hour Full-Time | Overnight Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

About Us

Pyramid Healthcare is opening a new detox and residential treatment facility in Concord, NC and is seeking compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our overnight team. As a BHT, you will provide essential support to clients during their recovery journey, ensuring safety, structure, and engagement in a therapeutic environment.

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician is a hands-on, direct care role that supervises clients, provides support during treatment programming, and assists with daily living needs. Overnight BHTs ensure a safe and structured environment while monitoring client well-being throughout the night.

Schedule & Pay

Shift: Overnight | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay: $16 – $18.50/hour (based on experience)
Status: Full-Time
