A Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides direct support and care to individuals with mental health, behavioral, or substance use disorders. They assist in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient behavior, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. BHTs work closely with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help patients develop coping skills and achieve their treatment goals. Education Qualifications

• Required: High School Graduate or equivalent
  
  

Certification Qualifications

• Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant
• Required: Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
• Required: Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training course (CPI) required within 1 month of hire date
  
  

Experience Qualifications

• Previous Behavioral Health experience preferred

Pay Range

• The pay range for this position is $16.20 - 24.30 per hour.
