NorthStar Behavioral Health in Cincinnati, OH seeks a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (Night Shift) for our residential units. You will provide direct care, supervision, and support to clients during a critical time in their recovery journey.

We offer competitive pay at $19.57/hr with a $0.50 night differential, comprehensive benefits, PTO, a 403(b) plan, PSLF eligibility, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• MA certification and/or an Associate’s Degree is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Tuberculosis skin test and influenza vaccination within the past year.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
• Plans and leads individual and group therapeutic recreation activities.
• Obtains and documents vital signs and patient information.
• Monitors patient activities and behaviors, reporting changes to medical staff.
• Provides crisis intervention and supportive communication.

What We Are Seeking for this Role:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medical Assistant (MA) certification and/or an Associate’s Degree is preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Tuberculosis Skin Test and Influenza (Flu) vaccination within the past year;
• Ability to work a 12‑hour shift.
• Ability to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 15 lbs.
