FHE Health in Boca Raton, FL is hiring a Mental Health Specialist (Night Shift) to support detox and behavioral health care within our modern facility. You will work with a compassionate team to assist admissions, monitor patients, and ensure safety during night hours.

The role requires CPR, CPI training, and a behavioral health credential. Strong communication and crisis intervention skills are essential, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is current or must be obtained.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training completed or to be obtained.
• Must be at least 21 years old to drive company vehicles.
• Certification or associate degree in behavioral health required.
• Experience in a mental health facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with day-to-day admissions processing.
• Support patients entering treatment and monitor activity.
• Observe patients to maintain safety and report observations to the treatment team.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transportation when needed.
• Communicate with the treatment team and coordinate care.
• Identify crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions.
• Supervise patients during unpacking/packing to maintain order.
• Ensure safety and orderly conduct within the facility.
• Observe urinalysis procedures and transport patients to appointments as required.
