Job summary

Denver Springs is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech to support the therapeutic milieu under RN supervision in a psychiatric inpatient setting. You will help ensure the schedule is followed, supervise patients, maintain safety, and treat everyone with dignity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health-care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.
• 1 year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, ensuring schedules and programs are delivered, patients are supervised, safety is maintained, and patients and guests are treated with respect and dignity.
• Assist in maintaining a calm, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with the care team to support treatment plans and respond to patient needs promptly.

What We're Looking For
