Qualifications

Job description

*Full-time day position Sunday, Monday, Wednesday 6am-6:30pm. In addition to holidays and 1 on-call shift per month. Working with the child and adolescent population in downtown Denver.

We offer the most comprehensive treatment program in the country for patients who struggle with eating disorders, mood and anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.

As a patient care professional at ERC Pathlight, you can expect to be part of a team that delivers hands-on treatment, therapy sessions, and support to our patients in one of our many centers around the nation. The BHT works under the supervision of the Nursing department and is responsible for the direct care of inpatient and residential patients by providing patient supervision and support.

You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:

  1. Milieu Management, including the following:
  • Maintains daily program structure by following the program schedule.
  • Completes observation rounds and safety checks as ordered by the physician.
  • Works with patients on de-escalation and implementing coping skills per treatment plan.
  • Provides patient transportation as needed for medical appointments (may vary by location and program).
  • Takes patient vital signs, weights, and urine Specific Gravity (may vary by location and program).
  • Other nursing support duties as assigned.
  • Acts as secondary support staff in group therapy (may vary by location and program).
  • Assists with morning routine and Activities of Daily Living while patients are in spa/bathroom.
  • Meal Support and Bathroom Monitoring, including flush checks for patients in the eating disorder program.
  • Completes documentation of patient observations, meals, and individual check-ins that occur during shift.

BHT I Must haves:

  • High School Graduate/GED (Required)
  • Associate's Degree (Preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record (Required)
  • Psych Tech or CNA experience (Preferred)
  • 6+ months of direct patient care/milieu experience (Preferred)

BHT II Must haves:

  • High School Graduate/GED (Required)
  • 1 year of Behavioral Health experience (Required)
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record (Required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of ERC milieu experience (for internal teammates only)

ERC Pathlight is hiring for 1 BHT Full-time position at the downtown location. Applications will be accepted until 1/3/2025.

The compensation range for the BHT role ranges from $20.25-25.00/hr. Increased ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
