Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (FT) for a 3PM-11PM shift at our Bowie, MD location. The role pays $15/hour with the potential for differentials on the overnight shift and offers flexible schedules and advancement opportunities.

The position requires a High School Diploma and may prefer prior behavioral health or healthcare experience, with CPR/AED/First Aid certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.
• Behavioral health or healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the intake process with new clients entering the program.
• Maintain accurate client documentation.
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication, as applicable.
• Coordinate client activities.
• Follow treatment plan objectives and address client-specific needs.
• Evaluate clients' behavioral and emotional needs, providing appropriate responses including crisis intervention.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
• Assist with clients' dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma required.
• Behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.
