As a patient care professional at ERC Pathlight, you will be part of a team that delivers hands-on treatment, therapy sessions, and support to our patients across various centers nationwide. The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) works under the supervision of the Nursing department and is responsible for the direct care of inpatient and residential patients, providing supervision and support.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Milieu Management, including maintaining daily program structure according to the schedule, completing observation rounds, and safety checks as ordered by the physician.
2. Working with patients on de-escalation techniques and implementing coping skills per the treatment plan.
3. Providing patient transportation for medical appointments, as needed.
4. Taking patient vital signs, weights, and urine specific gravity (may vary by location and program).
5. Performing other nursing support duties as assigned.
6. Acting as secondary support staff in group therapy sessions (may vary by location and program).
7. Assisting with morning routines and Activities of Daily Living while patients are in the spa/bathroom.
8. Monitoring meals and bathroom activities, including flush checks for patients in the eating disorder program.
9. Documenting patient observations, meals, and individual check-ins during shifts.

BHT I Must Haves:

• High School Graduate/GED (Required)
• Associate's Degree (Preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (Required)
• Psych Tech or CNA experience (Preferred)
• 6+ months of direct patient care/milieu experience (Preferred)

BHT II Must Haves:

• High School Graduate/GED (Required)
• 1 year of Behavioral Health experience (Required)
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (Required)
• Minimum of 1 year of ERC milieu experience (for internal teammates only)

Starting compensation ranges:

• Behavioral Health Technician I: $22.32 - $23.38/hr
• Behavioral Health Technician II: $23.38 - $25.58/hr

Note: These ranges are for Washington-based hires and are commensurate with experience.
