FT Days Available

Advanced Recovery Systems is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, and mental health issues. We focus on behavioral health, providing assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues, addictions, and mental health concerns.

The Recovery Village Kansas City (KCR) is an addiction treatment center offering a continuum of care for those struggling with substance use disorders. We employ a holistic approach to addiction treatment and co-occurring conditions. Our 80-bed facility in Kansas City provides medical detox, residential treatment, and outpatient programs. Located in tranquil Raytown, Missouri, about 30 minutes from Kansas City International Airport.

Pay Range

USD $15.00/Hr. - USD $20.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for observing and monitoring patients, reporting as needed, and contributing to patient welfare and a safe environment.

Collaborate with facility leadership to ensure success by:

1. Enforcing facility program rules professionally and fairly.
2. Communicating patient behavior to supervisors and clinical team.
3. Addressing problem behaviors using verbal de-escalation techniques.
4. Adhering to schedules.
5. Maintaining professional boundaries with patients and staff.
6. Ensuring accurate, timely documentation and secure records.

Good driving record required for transporting patients to medical appointments outside the facility.

Schedule

3 / 12-hour shifts, FT Days (7a-7p)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: Associate's degree + 1-year experience or 2+ years in BHT or similar role.
• Alternatively, completion of ARS BHT I training.
• Experience with adults or children/adolescents preferred based on facility type.
• Valid driving record per safety standards.
• State licensing as required (e.g., Counselor license).
• Certifications: Medication Tech/QMAP, CBHT, CNA, or MA preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
