Job summary

Denver Health is seeking a mission-driven Technician, Behavioral Health (Float) to provide safe, supportive care for psychiatric patients within the Inpatient Float Pool. Under supervision, you will contribute to care plans, assist with admissions, and support RN-led interventions in multiple tracks including Behavioral Health.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, BLS/CPR certification, and 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS-CPR certification required (AHA).
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations and staff.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs for adolescent to geriatric patients.
• Provide care in seclusion/restraint per policy and regulations.
• Collect laboratory specimens as directed by RN staff.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and orientation of patients and families.
• Document patient visits in electronic medical records.
