Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare’s Harford County inpatient program in Joppa, MD seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to interact with and supervise clients in treatment. The role supports intake, documentation, medication observation, and coordinating activities within a structured care setting.

Shift coverage includes day and night slots with weekend work; candidates should hold a high school diploma, CPR/AED/First Aid certs, and some behavioral health or healthcare experience to assist with treatment plans

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the intake process with new clients into the program.
• Maintain client documentation.
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable.
• Coordinate client activities.
• Follow the objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs.
• Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide responses, including crisis intervention.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment.
• Assist with the dietary needs of clients.
• Complete all required training.
• Other duties as assigned.
