The Wood Group seeks a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our mental health care team in Texas. You will support residents with behavioral health challenges, ensuring safety, structured routines, and compassionate care.

Daytime 12-hour shift (7am–7pm) rotation, with a focus on accurate documentation and adherence to policies. We value empathy, patience, and strong communication to help residents achieve stability and improved well-being in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities essential.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Empathy, patience, and genuine desire to help others.
• Knowledge of behavioral health practices, safety protocols, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
• Assist with daily activities and structured routines.
• Document observations and daily chart notes.
• Administer and supervise resident medication procedures as directed.
• Follow facility policies and maintain respectful treatment of residents.
• Support meals, chores, and adherence to the menu.
• Collaborate with teams to provide care within the community.
