Job summary

Center for Family Services in Warren County, NJ is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for the Crisis Diversion Home to support admissions, orientation, and daily living skills groups. The role requires a BA in social work or related field, and three years' experience in behavioral health; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• BA degree in social work or allied field preferred.
• English-Spanish bilingual and lived experience preferred.
• Three years' experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist admissions and orientation for new clients.
• Record inventory of belongings and manage safety of items.
• Co-facilitate orientation groups and daily living skills groups.
• Supervise meals and ensure client safety and well-being.
• Provide emotional support and refer to clinical staff as needed.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time; report incidents.
