Job summary

Ibis Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for the Community Housing Center in the Tampa area. The role requires monitoring clients, recording behavioral observations, and facilitating educational reading groups in a therapeutic setting within a 24/7 short-term residential facility.

Responsibilities include medication administration oversight, rounds, incident reporting, and participation in staffing meetings. A high school diploma is required; BHT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Monitor clients and document behaviors according to program policies.
• Educate clients on house rules and program guidelines.
• Assist with daily recreational activities and group education sessions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clients and document behaviors.
• Distribute medication and oversee client use.
• Operate a vehicle to transport clients to appointments when needed.
• Report all client incidents witnessed.
• Participate in client staffing and team meetings.
• Conduct rounds and house checks.
• Educate on rules, guidelines, and curfew times.
• Facilitate intervention care, including urine drug screens.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
