Job summary

Universal Health Services' Quail Run Behavioral Health Hospital in Phoenix, AZ seeks a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for the night shift. You will be part of a treatment team, providing continuous patient care and supervision under a Registered Nurse, with responsibilities including monitoring locations, documenting changes, and executing therapy plans.

The role requires BH care experience, a high school diploma or GED with 4 years of BH education/work, and an Arizona Fingerprint

Qualifications

• Experience working in a behavioral health care setting.
• Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor each patient’s location per the Observation Policy and Procedure.
• Assist with visitation in the evenings.
• Observe and document changes in a patient’s appearance, behavior or progress toward treatment goals.
• Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient.
• Maintain a safe, clean and therapeutic environment in accordance with policies.

Night Shift

Quail Run Behavioral Health Hospital in Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and talented Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) functions as an active and integral part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients. The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor each patient’s location per the Observation Policy and Procedure.
• Assit with Vistation in the evenings.
• Utilize sound judgment during assessment and observe and documents any changes in a patient's appearance, behavior or ability to work toward treatment plan goals.
• Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient
• Comply with the established policies and procedures requiring a safe, clean and therapeutic environment

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Experience working in a behavioral health care setting
• High School Diploma or GED as well as a combination of behavioral health education and work experience totaling 4 years
• Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
