Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support patients on the unit, assist with activities of daily living, and help implement treatment plans as part of the care team.

You will observe and document patient behavior, report changes to nursing staff, and participate in crisis intervention to ensure unit safety during night shifts and weekends on a 3x12 schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certificate, or obtain within 45 days of hire.
• Handle with Care (HWC) certification obtained within 45 days of hire.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide or assist with direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions.

Schedule

3x12 shift schedule, nights (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) with rotating weekends.
