We Are Hiring
  • Department: Psych
  • Schedule: Full Time Nights; 36 hours per week; Will work E/3rd weekend.
  • Hospital: St. Vincent Stress Center
  • Location: Indianapolis

At Ascension St. Vincent Stress Center, we deliver a wide range of mental health services with compassionate care. Our team approach focuses on healing mind, body and spirit.

What You Will Do

Provide direct behavioral health patient care.

  • Assist patients with performing activities of daily living.
  • Provide or assist with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
  • Observe and record patient behavior and activities. Report any changes in condition and suggest modifications to the treatment plan.
  • Establish a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.
What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences

Previous patient care experience; previous psych experience; bachelor's degree preferred.
