Pathways is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents aged 2–24, following a prescribed treatment plan. You will travel daily to clients’ homes or schools, implement interventions, set boundaries, and support families and professionals.
Qualifications include BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT; 2 years’ experience; and a high school diploma with 40-hour RBT training (or ability to complete within 10 days). We offer competitive pay and full benefits.
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-24, who are confronted with serious, identified, emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. With the support and guidance of the Behavioral Consultant, you will aid in improving independent, age-appropriate functioning to levels which require less or no service intervention. You will travel to the clients' home/school/service location daily being sure to follow the prescribed treatment plan and provide behavioral and treatment interventions and consequences to the client. Setting boundaries with clients and their families to prevent dependency upon your services as you also provide support to parents and adult professionals. Being sure to educate and train parents/young adults to utilize these skills, providing positive reinforcement and provide culturally aware and competent service provision
