Job summary

ABA Pathways LLC is hiring a Behavior Technician to work with children and young teens on the autism spectrum in clinics, homes, or community settings. You’ll implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA and use play-based teaching and positive reinforcement to build essential life skills.

No experience is required—paid training is provided and opportunities for professional development are available. You will join a supportive team focused on kindness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass background check and TB test.
• Valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Reliable transportation for client sessions.
• Availability 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday (one Saturday per month).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children and teens with autism to build life skills.

What You’ll Do

As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work directly with children and young teens with autism to help them build essential life skills. Every day, you’ll bring patience, creativity, and joy to your sessions — whether in the clinic, in the home, or out in the community.

Your day-to-day essential job duties may include:

• Implementing individualized treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Using positive reinforcement and play-based teaching to help children learn new skills.
• Collecting and tracking progress data with care and accuracy.
• Collaborating with your supervisor and team to support each child’s goals.
• Building trusting, respectful relationships with children, families, and teammates.
• Completing session notes and other administrative tasks on time.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for people who bring both heart and reliability to their work. The ideal candidate will:

• Must have availability between 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (with one Saturday per month).
• Be comfortable potentially working in-home and community settings.
• Be comfortable working with technology, such as Google Workspace.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and actively engage in play and movement.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test.
• Valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must have reliable transportation to support timely arrival to scheduled client sessions, including travel between clinic and community locations as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience working with children, particularly in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or within the education field.
• RBT certification or coursework in psychology, education, or a related field.
