Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

A Behavioral Health Technician is the liaison between client and clinical staff, prioritizing providing a safe environment for individuals in recovery. This role could be the beginning of your career!

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you'll assist with client intake and transportation, answer questions, and help clients adjust to the program routine. You'll observe and report any changes in a client's physical or mental condition to medical staff, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• 1+ years experience in Mental Health Field (or relevant college coursework) — preferable
• Ability and desire to keep patients safe at all times
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
• Valid Driver's License
• CDCA required

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain healthy relationships with patients
• Assist with admission and orientation procedures
• Maintain clear communication during client admission
• Complete shift reports and checklists
• Facilitate orientation groups
• De-escalate and assist with patients leaving treatment AMA/ACA
• Monitor patient locations and safety during visits
• Assist with medication monitoring if applicable
• Keep properties and spaces clean and organized
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings
• Exercise sound judgment and seek assistance when needed
• Protect patient privacy according to policies and laws
