Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

A Behavioral Health Technician is the liaison between client and clinical - whose priority is to assist in providing a safe environment for individuals in recovery. This role involves assisting in the intake process, transportation, answering client questions, and helping clients adjust to the program routine. You will observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition to medical staff, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• 1+ Years experience in Mental Health Field (or relevant college coursework) - preferred
• Ability and desire to keep patients safe at all times
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
• Valid Driver's License
• CDCA certification

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain healthy relationships with patients
• Assist with admission and orientation of new patients
• Maintain clear communication during patient admission
• Complete shift reports and checklists
• Facilitate orientation groups
• De-escalate and assist with patients leaving treatment against medical advice
• Monitor patient whereabouts and safety during visits and medication passes
• Maintain cleanliness of properties and office spaces
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings
• Exercise sound judgment and seek assistance when needed
• Protect patient privacy according to policies and law
