Behavioral Health Technician 2nd shift Sober Living

Responsibilities include assisting with intake and transportation, answering client questions, helping clients adapt to the program, and reporting any physical or mental health changes to medical staff to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in the Mental Health field or relevant college coursework (preferred)
  • Ability and desire to ensure patient safety
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Valid Driver's License
Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain healthy relationships with patients
  • Assist with admissions, orientation, and scheduling
  • Maintain clear communication during client admissions
  • Complete shift reports and checklists accurately
  • Facilitate orientation groups or meetings
  • De-escalate and assist patients leaving treatment AMA/ACA
  • Monitor patient locations and conduct que checks
  • Supervise family visits for safety
  • Assist with medication monitoring (if applicable)
  • Keep properties and areas clean and organized
  • Participate in staff meetings and training
  • Exercise professional judgment and seek assistance when needed
  • Protect patient confidentiality per legal and organizational standards
