Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) for our Lake Worth, FL facility. This role supports detox, residential, and PHP programming, with flexible FT, PT, and per diem options, and a 12-hour shift structure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, empathy, and composure in high-stress or crisis situations.
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of structured daily programming across detox, residential, and PHP programs.
• Build consistent, trust-based relationships with patients to reinforce engagement and progress.
• Monitor patients and the facility environment; perform regular safety checks.
• Communicate patient observations and needs to clinical and medical staff.
• Ensure adherence to program structure and facility rules.
• Document observations, safety checks, and incidents accurately and timely.
• Transport patients to and from program and community appointments.
• Measure and record vital signs; conduct UDS and breathalyzer testing as required.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement throughout the day; escalate clinically when needed.
• Keep Team Leaders and supervisors informed of relevant patient information.
• Assist with supply management, discharge preparations, and day-to-day operations.
