Position Details:

• Location: Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital
• Department: Adult Psych-WH
• Shift: Night (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Employment Type: Part-time

Summary: Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, performs direct patient care activities for patients with addiction, behavioral problems, or mental health issues. Ensures a safe environment and provides positive interactions to maximize patient wellbeing. Notifies management of significant patient care issues.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• At least one year of college experience in Behavioral Health, Allied Health, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience such as EMT or previous Behavioral Health Technician experience.
• Preferred: Two or more years of experience in inpatient psychiatric or addiction settings.

Certifications:

• Complete and maintain active BLS certification.
• Complete WELLE training within three months of hire; maintain WELLE certification.
