Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to deliver in-home ABA services to children and adolescents in Wayne and Oakland counties, Michigan. The role emphasizes anti-bias, person-centered care with family involvement and board-certified supervision.

Responsibilities include implementing individualized interventions, supporting client development, and maintaining clear communication. Some sessions may be supervised virtually by a BCBA; travel within Metro Detroit is required

Qualifications

Behavioral Health Technician - Trenton, MI

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Wayne County and Oakland County, Michigan (home-based services across Metro Detroit)

Schedule: Flexible shifts, with no weekend requirements.

Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician will provide in-home services to children and adolescents ages 0-18 with autism through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The role involves implementing individualized behavioral interventions, supporting clients' developmental needs, and working with families to promote positive outcomes in a respectful, person-centered environment.

Services are provided in clients' homes throughout Wayne County and Oakland County, Michigan. Candidates may work in either county depending on their location and the convenience of client assignments.

The position provides one-on-one support to help clients develop essential skills and achieve their individual goals. Although services are primarily in-home, some sessions may involve virtual supervision by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), when appropriate. This is not a fully remote position.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), or willingness to obtain certification within six months of hire.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide proof of work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in ABA or a related behavioral health setting, if possible.
• Experience working with DWIHN or Oakland County programs is a plus.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification; training can be provided.
• QBS/Safety-Care certification is preferred but not required.
