We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician to work in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Manor, Texas, United States.

Centria Health is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families with autism. Your responsibilities will include implementing learning programs, collecting data on target behaviors, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with your direct supervisor. You will build trust and care within the child's home environment, located within 15 minutes from your residence.

Our comprehensive paid behavioral health training will prepare you to impact the developmental growth of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while managing challenging behaviors.

What your day will look like:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, which may include physical and mental exercises.
• Using evidence-based techniques to engage children through activities that may involve standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
