Job summary

Dr. Deb’s Center for Child & Family Development in Leawood, KS seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time position. The role is 30–40 hours per week in a center-based ABA program, with open hours 8:00–16:00, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required within 2 weeks of hire.
• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CPR certification required or obtained before start date.
• Experience in childcare and with children with ASD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with Autism.
• Document progress and maintain required records.
• Collect data and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain RBT certification and documentation.
• Collaborate with BCBA, SLP, OT and PT teams.
• Adhere to BACB Ethics Code and Standards.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic culture.
• Support supervision hours toward BCBA certification.

Job description

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)-certified license needed. This position is a Full-Time

(30-40hrs/week). Our ABA Department, within our multi-disciplinary therapy clinic, is open 8-4pm Monday – Friday.

Qualifications:

• RBT certification (40 hr online coursework, in clinic training, test/pass/certification requirement for hire) must be obtained within 2 weeks
• Must have High School diploma
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Preferred experience in childcare
• Preferred experience working with children with ASD
• Must have or obtain CPR certification prior to start date

Responsibilities:

• Applying the principles of one-on-one ABA therapy to help kids with Autism reach their full potential
• Providing early intervention therapy in a center-based setting and required documentation
• Collecting data and implementing individualized treatment plans for each child
• Maintain RBT certification and proper documentation
• Collaboratively work with our BCBA Team and RBT's, as well as our, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist.
