Job summary

Collage Rehabilitation Partners in Covington, LA, is seeking Weekend Behavior Health Technicians to provide direct care in residential programs for adults with brain injury. You will implement behavioral training, document daily progress, and support residents in daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Implements facility-wide behavioral training and documentation.

• Transports residents to appointments and community activities.
• Completes daily documentation such as behavior data and incident reports.
• Performs housekeeping tasks as needed.

We are searching for Weekend Behavior Health Technicians to work in our residential programs located in Covington, LA. Behavior Technicians provide direct care services to people with behavioral challenges as a result of brain injury.
Duties

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
• Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
• Assists residents in ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports)
• Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Ability to lift 50lbs
