Job summary

Calvary Healing Center in Phoenix seeks a Behavioral Health Technician for a full-time overnight shift (7:00pm–7:30am). The BHT provides continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling as part of the treatment team, under nursing leadership, in a facility offering detox, inpatient care, PHP, and IOP.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma/GED; 21+ years old; BLS and First Aid within 30 days; and a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card and driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Preferred one year of experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health inpatient setting.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of Handle With Care Training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The BHT operates as an active member of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients.
• Works under the direction of the Milieu Manager, RN Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing.

Calvary’s proven treatment programs address the practical, physical, and spiritual aspects of addiction for lasting recovery. Our flagship location in Phoenix offers on-site detoxification and in-patient treatment programs, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). We also have a satellite clinic offering Intensive Outpatient Programs in the West Valley region. Through our programs we offer many other holistic healing and treatment options complementing our services ranging from yoga, art workshops, and music.
