Ideal candidates assist in implementing care plans, monitor dietary needs, and document observations precisely, ensuring timely communication with the registered nurse and the care team.

Qualifications

• De-escalation skills and ability to apply supportive behavior when assisting in managing disruptive patients.
• Perform vital signs, ADLs, intake and output documentation, and nutritional monitoring under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Assist nursing staff to maintain a therapeutic milieu.
• Inventory patient belongings and secure contraband as needed.
• Maintain infection control policies and attend required in-services.
• Document patient observations and care activities accurately in the chart.
