Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech II to support patients from admission through discharge at our Plano, TX facility. You will help ensure safety, deliver patient interventions, lead psychoeducational groups, and assist with treatment planning under clinical direction.

The role involves night shifts (11pm-7am), collaboration with nursing staff, maintaining documentation, and providing transportation when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One+ years experience in mental health/substance use/eating disorder field preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Support patients through admission to discharge, ensuring safety and care.
• Lead daily groups and assist clinical team with treatment plans.
• Provide transportation services and maintain documentation.
• Maintain a safe, organized environment and assist with housekeeping.
• Adhere to policies and attend trainings.
