Job summary

Wellbrook Recovery is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide one-on-one support for patients dealing with mental health and substance use issues at our in-person treatment facility in Wisconsin. The role operates under supervision from a licensed professional to implement treatment plans and provide ongoing care.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, administering medications as directed, and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to patients to help them manage mental health or substance abuse issues.
• Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress.
• Administer medications under supervision of a licensed professional.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and social workers for comprehensive care.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
