Paradigm Recovery Centers in Sedalia, MO seeks a compassionate Behavioral Health Tech to join our multidisciplinary team. You will help provide high-quality care, monitor clients, and support recovery-focused programming in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include facilitating activities, documenting observations, maintaining safety, and collaborating with clinical staff while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral health or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher in behavioral health preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and support clients throughout the program day and maintain a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment.
• Assist with daily program activities, groups, educational activities, and recovery-focused programming as directed by clinical staff.
• Observe client behavior, mood, participation, and interactions and promptly report significant changes or concerns to the appropriate clinical staff.
• Provide encouragement and support to clients in developing positive coping skills, recovery behaviors, communication skills, and healthy routines.
• Assist clinical staff with maintaining structure, organization, and appropriate client participation within the treatment environment.
• Support client engagement and adherence to program expectations, policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Complete required observations, logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment and report environmental or safety concerns.
• Participate in crisis prevention and intervention procedures and notify staff of safety concerns.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, Paradigm policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate observations regarding client behavior, participation, and progress.
• Provide culturally responsive, respectful, and person-centered support to clients.

• Assist with client arrival, departure, transitions, breaks, meals, activities, and other program-related routines as assigned.
• Participate in crisis prevention and intervention procedures and immediately notify clinical staff of safety concerns, behavioral emergencies, or changes in client condition.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and protect client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and Paradigm policies and procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate relevant observations regarding client behavior, participation, and progress.
• Provide culturally responsive, respectful, and person-centered support to clients.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment and report environmental or safety concerns to appropriate staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on program needs, applicable laws and regulations, licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and Paradigm policies and procedures.

Requirements:
