Job summary

ACT Treatment in Madison, WI is seeking people to mentor and support autistic individuals. No experience required; paid training provided. Base pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour with a $3/hour weekend increase and a $250 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Shifts are available Monday‑Friday, 8:30am–6:30pm and on weekends. You will work 1:1 with clients in their home or community setting, engaging in activities aligned with a therapy program and requiring up to 50 lbs lifting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma.
• Excellent communication skills, compassionate, patient and enjoy working with children and young adults.
• Must be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, run and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• You will work 1:1 with clients in their home or community setting; sessions usually run 2–4 hours.
• Engage and play with clients while following a therapy program developed for you.
• Mentor and provide support for autistic individuals in the Madison, WI area.

Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma, access to a vehicle
• Excellent communication skills, compassionate, patient and enjoy working with children and young adults
• Must be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, run and lift up to 50lbs
