We are seeking a dedicated and organized Behavioral Health Support Front Desk professional to manage the front office of our busy behavioral clinic in Sterling Heights, MI. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth clinic operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support our clinical team. Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is required to communicate effectively with our diverse client base.

Essential Functions:
  1. Front Desk Management: Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, managing the reception area professionally and warmly.
  2. Phone Handling: Answer and direct incoming calls, provide service information, and handle inquiries courteously.
  3. Insurance Verification: Verify and update client insurance information for accurate billing and service delivery.
  4. Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate intake appointments, manage the clinic calendar to optimize efficiency and reduce wait times.
  5. Database Navigation: Manage client data and scheduling using electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.
  6. Client Support: Assist clients with intake procedures, paperwork, and information about services.
  7. Administrative Tasks: Handle clerical duties such as filing, faxing, scanning, and maintaining supplies.
  8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff to ensure effective communication and support for client care.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Arabic is mandatory.
