Job summary

Great Oaks Recovery Center seeks a Behavioral Health Associate I to join the on-site treatment team. You will monitor client safety, assist in data collection, and support therapeutic activities while modeling positive behaviors.

Responsibilities include supervising clients, recording vital signs, and coordinating with nursing staff during shifts. A CPR/De-escalation trained candidate with a HS diploma is preferred to support rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six months+ experience with the population preferred
• Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure client safety and maintain a structured, supportive environment.
• Conduct safety checks and document observations for supervisors.
• Record vital signs and report changes promptly to the charge nurse.
• Manage client belongings and monitor for contraband.
• Facilitate group activities and therapeutic recreation programs.
• Document in client records accurately and timely.
• Assist with admissions, discharge, and incident reporting.
• Provide transfers or coordinate transportation as needed.
