About your Role :

As our Behavioral Health Support Specialist, you will work with adults aged 18 and older who have been discharged from lesser levels of care such as an adult family home or assisted living facility, and need additional behavioral supports to maintain that placement. You will meet with the client and support systems to create a Safety and Crisis Plan and an Individual Behavior Support Plan, and meet with the client weekly to focus on and work toward their reported goals. You will engage family members and residential staff, collaborating and educating them on ways to more successfully work with the clients. You will maintain ongoing evaluations, progress notes, plans, and meeting documentation to show client progress or behaviors to address. This position involves working an after-hours phone crisis response approximately once every three months.

Does the following apply to you?

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• At least 2 years of direct treatment experience with clients with a mental health diagnosis, under the supervision of a mental health professional (supervised internship hours count)
• Eligible as an Agency Affiliated Counselor through WA DOH (we can assist with submission)
• Satisfactory results from fingerprinting and background checks
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
