San Pasqual Academy is located on a beautiful 238 acres in rural San Pasqual Valley. SPA is equipped with all the amenities of a private high school, including classrooms, an auditorium, gym, and cafeteria. On grounds sports and activities include basketball, softball, and football. Our unique campus features residential staff and house parents serving as surrogate parents who mentor and tutor students, teach age-appropriate independent living skills, create opportunities to explore new interests, encourage participation in sports and recreation, assist in the exploration of career and job opportunities, and promote family living skills.
Pay: $27.00 per hour; $1000.00 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Clinical position paid out at 3 and 6 Months!

What you will do: You will be responsible for providing mental health rehabilitation and support services to our residents to ensure stability and successful transition back to the community. You will participate in developing and monitoring each resident’s individual treatment plan and coordinate services with social workers, probation officers, medical/mental health providers, and other institutions.
To be considered you must: To qualify for this role, candidates must demonstrate empathy, patience, and respect, along with a genuine desire to work with troubled teens. They must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and TB test. Additionally, candidates are required to hold a current State Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years. Educational qualifications and experience are also critical, with the following combinations acceptable: An Associate’s degree with six years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree with four years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with two years of related experience. Relevant experience includes working with youth in a mental health setting as a specialist in the fields of physical restoration, social adjustment, or vocational adjustment.

Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 11am-8pm OR Sunday- Thursday 11am-8pm
