Job summary

HCA Healthcare, based in Nashville, Tennessee, invites applications for the Behavioral Health Sales Director, Physician and Provider Relations. This role is responsible for developing and retaining customer relationships to drive growth for hospital behavioral health service lines.

You will analyze market utilization, demographics, and engage with physicians and medical staff to advance BHS opportunities. The position is incentive eligible and part of our effort to expand behavioral health

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
• 3+ years of behavioral health, facility sales/outreach, or related experience required.
• Behavioral health specific experience or education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, analyze, and interpret market utilization data for BHS service line to guide outreach priorities.
• Evaluate market demographics for psychiatrists and patient populations in assigned facilities/markets.
• Conduct crucial conversations of BHS attributes, processes, and outcomes with consumers, physicians, and market groups.
• Develop growth and retention strategies for target markets and facility psychiatric medical staff.
• Develop goals and timelines for closing new or enhanced provider and physician service opportunities.
• Present and gain support from market leaders and medical staff leadership for the BHS growth plans.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The role of the Behavioral Health Sales Director, Physician and Provider Relations is responsible for developing and retaining customer relationships to drive business growth for key hospital behavioral health service lines.

What you will do in this role:

• You will evaluate, analyze, and interpret market utilization data for market facilities’ BHS service line, ensuring that BHS outreach priorities are identified in support of the vision and strategic goals
• You will evaluate, analyze, and interpret market demographics, including population, age, gender, race, and projected trends for both psychiatrists and patient populations for the assigned facilities, markets and or state
• You will conduct crucial conversation of BHS attributes, processes, and outcomes to consumers, physicians, and market facilities’ groups/individuals
• You will develop growth and retention strategies for target markets and facility psychiatric medical staff
• You will develop goals and timelines for closing new or enhanced key provider and physician service opportunities
• You will present and gain support and commitment from market(s) leaders, facility leaders, related medical staff leadership, and outpatient service leaders for the BHS market vision and growth plans
