Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Triage at Evanston Hospital. This on-site role is full-time with a day shift (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm) and may involve floating to other locations as needed.

The RN will perform professional nursing assessments, prioritize care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care. Illinois RN license and CPR certification are required, with at least two years in behavioral health.

Qualifications

Current State of Illinois Registered Nursing License
Current CPR issued by American Heart Association
A minimum of two years of behavioral health experience

Responsibilities

Provides a professional nursing assessment, prioritizing treatment according to the urgency of need.
Completes comprehensive assessments with patients and/or family members and initiates pre-certification process.
Serves actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and program philosophy of care to ensure the safety and well-being of each patient.
