Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient-centered care using the nursing process.

The role requires coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team and maintaining a safe, therapeutic milieu for patients. The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active CT RN license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and have a current Registered Nurse license with the state of Connecticut.
• Must have certification in BLS upon hire and maintain clinical competency during employment.
• Must be trained in CPI and de-escalation techniques and receive certification within 3 months of hiring into the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality direct and indirect patient centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain a safe, structured and therapeutic milieu with age-specific behavioral management.
• Promote nursing practice through collegial support and interactions.
