Job summary

Lakeview Behavioral Health Hospital in Peachtree Corners, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our compassionate team. You will assess patients’ physical and behavioral needs, and develop individualized nursing care plans to support high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license as required by Georgia state regulations.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral or substance abuse nursing a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about various conditions.
• Provide nursing care within state practice act and facility policies.
• Administer medications and document controlled substances accurately.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and staff.
