Job summary

Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho is seeking a variable shift, PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to support Behavioral Health services. The RN delivers compassionate nursing care following the nursing process, adheres to hospital policies, and collaborates with providers and leaders to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Idaho RN license, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Idaho RN licensure.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Responds to life-threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
• Organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with necessary providers/leaders.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
