Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for an adult inpatient unit in Texas. This 13-week contract role shifts nights and requires a 12-hour shift schedule, with a patient ratio of 1:8 and patient care across psychiatric conditions.

The position requires an active RN license, 2 years of nursing experience (travel experience preferred) and certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience with 1:8 patient ratios.
• Knowledge of Epic charting system preferred.
• Clinical skills in managing psychiatric conditions.
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Must be available to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration for psychiatric inpatients.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
• May float to ER or medical-surgical units as needed.
