Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift at Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates, IL. This role supports the Adult Psychiatric Nursing Unit with direct patient care.

You will work 3x12s and participate in weekend/holiday rotations, perform biopsychosocial assessments, and develop care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of hire, valid through employment.
• RN credential with Illinois Board of Nursing before hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and deliver direct nursing care.
• Design and implement personalized care plans with multidisciplinary goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in case conferences to refine objectives.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions and monitor patient progress.
