Job summary

Oasis Behavioral Health in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for full‑time day and night shifts on a 12‑hour schedule. The role offers strong sign‑on bonuses of $7,500 for days and $10,000 for nights, with a 210‑bed hospital delivering mental health and substance‑use treatment for adolescents and adults.

The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, develop plans, educate patients and families, and coordinate care within state regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current RN license as required by Arizona.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral or substance abuse nursing a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Provide nursing care within nursing practice standards and facility policies.
• Ensure physicians’ orders are legible and transcribed properly.
• Assess patient status continually and document pertinent information.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status or emergencies.
• Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently.
• Maintain professional boundaries and therapeutic rapport with patients.
• Coordinate activities of the unit as directed.
• Communicate professionally with patients, visitors and staff.
