Tufts Medicine Behavioral Health Hospital in Malden, MA is sourcing an RN Nurse Manager to lead nursing operations for a new 144-bed behavioral health facility opening Fall 2025. The role oversees nursing services, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and ensures patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Minimum qualifications include a BSN or higher and RN license; several years of RN experience and administrative supervision are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher strongly preferred.
• Current registered nursing license in State of facility required.
• Three years as a registered nurse strongly preferred.
• Two years of registered nursing experience required.
• Two years of prior experience with the facility's patient population preferred.
• One year of prior experience with the population required.
• Prior experience as a house supervisor strongly preferred.
• One year of charge RN or other administrative experience required.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required.

Responsabilités

• Direct nursing operations for assigned units in collaboration with DON/CNO.
• Oversee delivery of behavioral health nursing services with compassionate care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams and departments to meet residents' needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and nursing standards; prioritize patient safety.
• Anticipate census and acuity changes, allocate nursing resources.
• Provide leadership and serve as resource to staff.
• Recruit, hire, and train staff; develop educational programs.
• Participate in policy development and budget planning.
• Provide direct care as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
