Great Plains Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in a behavioral health setting. You will use professional nursing standards and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment and discharge planning.

The role requires licensure as an RN in the applicable state, BLS certification, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license or compact licensure in current state of practice and BLS certification.
• Additional certification or continuing education may be required depending on area of practice.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient needs, plan care, and document nursing care per policy.
• Formulate discharge plans in collaboration with patient/family and health team.
• Implement and coordinate nursing care with physician orders and plan of care.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care as needed with the team.
• Document thoroughly in the patient record, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Participate in education, mentoring, and quality improvement activities.
